Resource Structure

The learning material in this resource is designed to allow course participants to target specific subject areas, depending on the customised training program they are undertaking. However, the material also covers many of the competency elements from the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

The main content is divided into four sections - Training, Designing, Assessing and Supporting - as shown below. The individual units of competency from the TAE40116 covered in these sections are grouped under these broad headings.

Note that some competencies have a significant overlap between them, so there will be times where you'll need to read the learning material in more than one section to get a comprehensive coverage of all of the topics relevant to that competency.
